They wanted to make sure that you aren't doing anything dangerous or illegal. I understand why you are upset and you have a right to feel however you are going to feel about it but they did it because they want to ensure that you are safe and aren't involved in anything that could cause you or others harm. If you run away, yes it will have a negative impact on he chances of getting back with your parents.

I do not use drugs nor do I drink. I never have and yet my parents drug tested me as a teen because my siblings did drink and did drugs and they assumed I did too. So yes, I was innocent and yes, I was accused of being a druggie.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
