Packers 13-3- There's no reason to believe they will be set back next year. They lost several key starters this year, so when they are healthy again next year they will only be better. I would say undefeated, but I'm a realist and believe they'll get a couple bad breaks next year.
Lions 10-6- The Lions caught a LOT of bad breaks this year. Their record is not a good indication of what this team is capable of. If they get a solid CB and LB in the offseason, this team will be good.
Maybe Matt Stafford will be healthy, maybe not. Either way, their backups (Shaun Hill and Drew Stanton) stepped up and helped this football team in Stafford's absence. Hill will likely hit the free agent market though.
The way Schwartz is building this team, you can only imagine they will get better. Bears 8-8- Trent Dilfer isn't what I would consider a good analysist, but he did accurately point out that Chicago tends to struggle having back to back successfull seasons. With the exception of 2005-2006 of course.
The difference is the NFC North next year will be tough, unlike the crap that came out of the division in 05 and 06. No matter how you look at it this year, the Bears made it by luck. They played 6 backup QB's, going all the way down to the 3rd string.
All of their toughest opponents went to Chicago, and Chicago never had any serious injuries. Had the refs called what should have been a TD for Calvin Johnson in Week 1, Chicago wouldn't have made the playoffs. You can't be lucky every year, so reality will kick in again next year.
This is a good team, but teams generally are lucky one year, and unlucky the next. That's typical across the league. Vikings 4-12- This team is aging fast.
Many opposing fans in the division saw it coming this year, but the Vikings still made a last ditch effort to win a Superbowl with what they had. This of course back fired. Now they have an even older team without a QB.
They will be rebuilding next year and will have to start all over. I don't think they'll be as bad as the 4-12 prediction will indicate, but considering how tough the NFC North will be, they won't be able to keep up.
Playoffs haven't even ended yet.. I'll answer anyway. Green Bay Packers 12-4 Chicago Bears 10-6 Detroit Lions 8-8 Minnesota Vikings 5-11 Love the respect the Bears are getting from the other answerers here...this team went 11-5 this year and I'm seeing 6-10 predictions for next year?...wooow.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
