I have a travel router. I use it in hotel rooms. If I connect an Ethernet cable to it, it can create an 802.11ac WPA2 encrypted hotspot for my devices.
If there is no Ethernet, I can tell it to connect to the hotels WiFi and it still translates that into an 802.11ac hotspot. It's user interface is fairly simple It isolates my stuff from all the other people in the hotel. I only have to do the hotel permission thing once.
Useful? Yes, it is. Since mine also has a battery, for a number of hours, it can create a WiFi hotspot.
This hotspot can NOT connect to the internet as that would require something to give it internet. If you have an iPod that does not have WiFi, it won't give you WiFi. An iPod touch, on the other hand, already has WiFi and can automatically tap into your portable router, gaining internet access anytime it has it.
The first device to connect to it will have to do that hotel or hotspot permission thing for the rest to have internet access. I have the DIR810L from D-Link.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
