Do non US citizens have to pay the same price for tuition fees as US citizens?

Actually, you raise an interesting point there. Scottish students get their university tuition fees all paid for them anyhow, but students from the rest of the UK still have to pay, so presumably the cap for them too would rise. But that's all obsolete anyhow.

The previous cap before the government raised it was about £3200 and even then only the two top universities charged that, so it follows logically therefore that if the University of Aberdeen is charging £3400 for a UK/EU student then that figure has already taken into account the new law, which probably means the figure for international students has been taken into account too, and so £12075 would be what you'd pay. However, after googling it I noticed that figure was for the year 2010/2011, so if you're planning to go next year, 2011/2012 or even the year after next it could be higher, but not by much. Also, that's how much you pay per year, so times that by however many years you'd be staying there for (presumably three) and then also take into account your living costs and you're looking at a total cost in the region of £50,000 - £60,000.

Quite expensive, obviously, and as you're not from the EU you won't receive any grants from the government, so you'll probably have to take out a loan, unless your family can afford to pay for you. You could also look into getting a scholarship or a sponsor, but unless you're exceptionally gifted - which you might be, how do I know ^_^ - then it'll be difficult. There's a phone number on the website if you need more help.

You've probably already found this page, but maybe you missed that part? http://www.abdn.ac.uk/documents/study-co... Be careful though; for an international phone call you might be charged through the roof. Check first.

Anyway, hopefully I've helped. Good luck with your studies (.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
