Do people (mostly) ask questions just for the sake of visibility not for discussing issues?

I guess 90% of people are here just for promotion. I see about 10 faces all the time asking really stupid questions that they could have found in google in a second. So yeah, most of the people just want visibility, a few really like to discuss things.

I would call it SPAM in other words, but hey, I'm not the one calling the shots around here, not yet :).

Some people are really interested in discussing issues but the other some are just here for the sake of exposure. I know I do.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
