They are misinformed and don't research what they hear.

You probably have the figure too high, but to answer your question, NO! .

Some do, because that's what Fox, Palin, and Beck told them to think. If they actually educated themselves, they would realize the mistakes they are making. But its easier to not have to think.

Those who aren't informed might. Here are some common misconceptions, along with the facts:President Obama tripled the deficit. Reality: Bush's last budget had a $1.416 trillion deficit.

Obama's first budget reduced that to $1.29 trillion. President Obama raised taxes, which hurt the economy. Reality: Obama cut taxes.40% of the "stimulus" was wasted on tax cuts which only create debt, which is why it was so much less effective than it could have been.

Health care reform costs $1 trillion. Reality: The health care reform reduces government deficits by $138 billion. One of this administration's greatest failures (imo) has been poor messaging.

When President Obama said recently on The Daily Show that many Americans don't even know what the administration has done, he was right. I'm not sure why that is. Probably partly the media who likes to report doom and gloom (it's what sells) and partly the administration, for not spending a little more time trumpeting their achievements.

Of course I like humility, so to me that has been a plus, not a minus. I hope that much of America feels as I do. Org/news/148614/8_nasty_conservative_lies_about_the_democrats_and_obama_that_must_be_debunked_before_the_election.

They're usually poor, and stupid.. Perfect voters! .

I guess they do since it looks like they are going to vote to give Republicans big majority in the House and possibly take over, or at least come close to taking over, the Senate. Why would they do that if they didn't think they would be better off? .

Like DM has stated--the votes will tell! The numbers tonight will tell us what the average American thinks. I can only make a guess today, but if the Republicans win, I would have to assume that the majority of Americans think they will be better off with Republicans in control.

If the Democrats retain control, then obviously the majority of Americans feel they are better off the way it is now.

Yes, I think we would be better off with Republicans in office because of the big tax increase that will come when the Bush tax cuts expire on December 31. The Democrats have done nothing to either keep them in place or do what Obama keeps saying and that is only allow them to expire for people making over $250,000. Right now, the federal tax rate is going to go up 50% for poor people in the 10% tax rate group (going to 15%), for other groups, the increased taxes is almost as high.

For example a couple earning $50,000 a year may have to come up with an extra $1000 to $2000 in taxes. Most people earning that much just don't have another grand or two to give to the government. Also, be suspicious of Obama's so called misconceptions:>>Reality: Bush's last budget had a $1.416 trillion deficit.

Obama's first budget reduced that to $1.29 trillion. >Reality: Obama cut taxes. 40% of the "stimulus" was wasted on tax cuts which only create debt, which is why it was so much less effective than it could have been.

>Reality: The health care reform reduces government deficits by $138 billion. >One of this administration's greatest failures (imo) has been poor messaging. The guy gave 500 speeches in 2009.

He will probably exceed that this year. This is not poor messaging, this is a complete and utter rejection of what he has to say!

" "The biggest celebration of the year in the USA.

Keeping Presidential Politics, Democrats and Republicans out of this question and DB - Do you think there's any momentum.
