I have faced racism before. Girl I was trying to date was Vietnamese and her parents hated me because I was a white guy, and on top of that wasn't a doctor or something like that.
Because it's our American society that make two things happen: 1. It makes people believe non-whites are incapable of being racist, which is false. 2.
It makes people believe white people are incapable of experiencing racism, which is false. Racism is believing one race is innately inferior to another or hating another person because of their race. So yes, any person of any race can perpetrate or be a victim of racism, including white people.
One of the biggest examples of racism versus white people is the college system, which places being non-white above being white. Put a white and a non-white with the exact same credentials, and the non-white will win every time getting accepted. Even with lesser credentials, a non-white many times will be accepted over a white person.
My friend was not accepted the his college because he was white while a non-white friend of his got accepted with lesser credentials.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
