Do Roman Catholics believe that gays have a "mental disorder"?

Yes, it's great news. However Portugal is not as conservative as it used to be, and the Left wing parties have a majority in Parliament, and the Churches and homophobes are taking a beating.

Portugal is not that conservative, in fact, what we consider conservative in Portugal would correspond to the american democratic party... The majority of the population is left wing. And although Portugal is traditionally catholic, the vast majority of those under 45, although probably baptized, don't pay any importance to religion whatsoever... Needless to say that in Portugal there is a clear and total separation between church and state, written in our Constitution. As an example it would be a scandal if our President said something like "God bless Portugal", moreover, that's forbidden under our Constitution, for a representative of the people mix his religion with his political post.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
