As an independent who undoubtedly will once again end up writing in someone in November I believe the problem is that many conservatives deeply dislike Ron Paul's policies for various reasons. The social conservatives don't like his stance on the war on drugs, the War Hawks don't like his non-interventionist defense policy. The truth is that I believe most conservatives will cling to someone who they view as representing their views as opposed to simply trying to get an extra 10-15%.
Step away from the Kool Aid. Paul is not going to get the nomination. And YES, independents will vote for the GOP nominee.
I know because I am one of them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
