Absolutely yes. Our thoughts are energy, and energy becomes matter. In fact, energy and matter are two phases of one reality, like ice, water and steam--identical essentially with only a difference in form.

The clearer and purer our thoughts, the better and faster results we see in manifesting our ideas in the world. We experience this every day in life--if we send out thoughts of fear, scary things happen. If we expect the best from people, that is what we get.

The only way we can change the world is not by trying to change others, but by raising the vibration of our own thoughts and changing ourselves. The whole world resonates to the power of thought.

Yes. Also, words from a person in authority over another have the power to affect those under them, and their reality. "You make me sick to my stomach" is a good example.

Another, "You are an excellent ______________" Words and thoughts are much more poignant than formerly credited. (sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me...).

Thoughts are reality at the moment they are thought. To experience them later is a new thought/experience. I love the simplicity of the idea, but it does not work quite the way everyone said it did.

And that was very damaging to many, It stemmed from the fact they those who preached this law as though it were the end all and be all, actually were not in the business of helping people of their audience, but desired to help them selves with one thing: obtain power in the form of fame, money and *belief* of the law itself via social proof. In other words, the more they had people paying them to tell them the law is All, the more the proselytizer could believe in the law.

Yes, as a first step. Then there is another law called the law of creation. You actually have to go out and act on your thoughts to make them become a reality!

I have read of things happening, because a person thought a certain way, or was conditioned to think a certain way. If you begin to train yourself a certain way, this is not only possible, it is probable.

I heard this phrase from a guru, 'you attract who you are, not what you want' in terms of friendships/relationships. V poignant..

Yes - I do. At least on a basic level. I think the way it works is more along the lines of: your thoughts dictate your 'vibe', which creates your reality.

And your feelings are indicators of your 'vibe'. So - by doing what you can to improve your feeling, you will improve your thoughts(and vice-versa), which in turn will change your reality.

Yes I do. Just looking around my home proves to me that the Law of Attraction works!

Not exactly, it is your feelings that become reality. It can be tricky but the feeling you have is the attractor to what you will have in the future. You can sometimes choose what to think, knowing that a type of thought makes you feel the way you want to feel, and then with that feeling dominating all your being, you will attract what you want related to that feeling. So if you want a new red car, feel right now how happy you would if you already had the car.

That will attract the car to you. But you will be doing things to help (not make) it happen. Need more?

I absolutely do believe. The brain is an awesome tool or a fierce enemy. It is our choice on how to use it.

And all of our brains are sadly underused.

You become what you are by the person or group you associate with.

Yes I do believe in LOA and my thoughts becoming a reality but.....my emotions have to follow my thoughts – my goal. I mean what your thoughts are saying your heart must agree and believe. Now say you are bankrupt and you want to earn good money quickly. In your head you make up that you want to earn 100.000$ within the next 6 months.

Then close your eyes and in front of you imagine a line with numbers from 1 to 10. If one is: “I don't believe I can” and 10 is: “I am certain that will happen”. Watch those numbers and see where your believe system stands.

Is it below 7 I think you have to work on your believe system, maybe start with less dollars on your goal. Is the number you see 7 or higher - go for it!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
