There many options to this questions: I believe if the human race continues to advance in their technology we can overcome many obstacles to continue and exist. If they don't, we could die by massive cold (another Ice Age) massive heat due to Global Warming, massive floods due to the melting of the polar ice caps, the sun eventually losing it's energy (causing extreme weather changes), possibly exploding taking the entire solar system with it, lost of food causing global salvation, and lastly a possible (seem unlikely) Alien Invasion. If the human race can successful advance especially in space travel, we can prevent of the possible options above.
Thus existing longer, but like in most species, nature will play a big role on if the species with exist. Like Darwin famous saying, "Survival of the Fittest. " Time will.... tell.

Always is such an awfully long time, and there are so many people and institutions that seem hell bent to wipe out the species in their pursuit of greed and power. We almost lost humanity in the 60s due to the risk of atomic war. We're screwing up the environment to the point that the species may not be able to survive.
Once we hit peak oil, and start sliding into the Olduvai Trench, these will probably be a severe drop in numbers of the population and then the level of civilization will drop. If we don't find a cheap source of energy and get off this ball, our species will die off. So, to answer your question, no, the human species will probably not survive forever, at least not as we exist now..
At this point in human history, we could not survive the death of the Planet Earth. Somewhere in the not too distant future, scientists may discover another biosphere that we could adapt to and the means to travel there in small numbers before our extinction here. It seems likely that the current climate changes will begin to affect crops and fresh water aquifers and possibly cause a huge die-off somewhere in the future.
The impact of so many humans and our machines seems to be be having a negative effect on the environment together with natural weather cycles. In years to come, it is quite possible that humans will be threatened as a species by natural forces. No one really knows the future of course but the possibility of extinction really does exist imo.It is just as likely that some humans would continue to survive no matter how inhospitable the earth becomes.
We are a very adaptive bunch of critters, it seems to me! Sources: personal conjecture .
Not as it is now. Probably somewhere in history humanity will evolve into another species because there is always room for improvement. This would only be correct, however, if you believe in Darwin’s Evolution.
---- Some people believe that at some point humans will end up killing each other until everyone dies in which case humanity will cease to exist. --- There is a theory that says that the sun will burn itself out someday and on that day humanity will cease to exist unless of course we have moved to different planets by that time. --- The truth is that nobody can actually know... but those are a few guesses..
Yes. Human beings? No way!
Humanity is a concept, not a material thing. Human beings are material things, and they have a nasty habit of blowing every opportunity ever given to them, since they were first forcibly ejected from The Garden of Eden. We are always creating new nuclear bombs with which to destroy ourselves, and electing the WRONG people to represent us.
WE are our own worst enemy, and WE will destroy all life on Earth, eventually, due to our collective stupidity. Sources: My own 2¢ .
Just what does it mean to be human in a mechanized society where the machines are becoming more like humans and humanity.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
