Do you consider yourself a writer, a blogger, a poet, or simply testing the waters?

A writer hoping to become an author ........someday.

I would like to be a writer, which I won't be until I get something published (not self-published) professionally. Since all of the online writing I do is here on HubPages, which is not a blog, I am not technically a blogger. I have no talent in poetry and I don't really seem to have a head for understanding it.

Testing the waters? How shall I interpret that? Well, one thing I can say for sure is that I'm a HubPages addict!

I am, of course, like you and all who answer this question and all who do not but are members of the club, a "hubber. When its all said and done, I suppose I'm a wannabe writer. Take care.

I consider myself none of the above, I just consider that I've always had a lot of verbal diarrhea, and I thought to capitalize on it, if I could. So far, so good :).

An ametuer writer & poet testing the waters! I am relatively new into this field but am determined be become a successful writer/author some day! Of course I have a long way to go...

I would consider myself more a proofreader or an editor. I love to help other people with their writing more so than I like to write my own stuff (fiction).

All of the above :)! I started to consider myself a writer when I finished my book, although I have been writing since I was little.....a poet too because I write those often, and a blogger because that is my favorite way to write....and testing the waters always! Sorry to answer them all, but thats just me.

Just Beautiful. A writing poet testing the waters. I like it!

I consider myself all of the above except a poet. Its amazing when you loose yourself in your work and express the way you feel, no one can do that for you. When people read what you write they getting a glimpse about how you view life and what you all about.

A writer is all of the above (including "testing the waters'). So, a writer.

Life dips her toesinto the poolof our existenceI seekto be a ripple.

A writer, a blogger as its my hobby to write and yes always testing the waters,,, to explore new and learn new.

All I am a published author, poet and blogger. I have been writing since grammer school and it is a part of me. I go through stages where I am very prolific. In one year I wrote over 1,000 poems.

Right now I am coming out of abour 8 months of writers block. Just gotta get going again.

Well, I consider myself a dreamer. And one of them is writing. It can be anything from a poem, to an essay, to fiction or non.

I just love to "test the waters", as you say :-), until I find myself developing a strong preference for any of them and then concentrate there.

A writer, or at least I aspire to be one. The challenge is, can I put on paper what I see in my minds eye? I've enjoyed writing, for some time, but it's a new dynamic to post it and see how it's received.

A poet because I find beauty in every instance of life, a writter because I had to become one if I wanted to get good grades on my assignments, a blogger because I cannot resist the temptation to interact with people who write about the things I love, and testing the waters because I am still thinling on going back to the woods, collect samples of the tree that hurt me and write a Hub about it.... :).

I am an 1 time 1 hit wonder 1 article writer. I do not need to write another article. It is already a smash hit around the world in the countries of United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, Australia, Japan, Brazil, China.

Some of the cities are: New York City, New York; San Francisco, Ca. ; Pelato, Brazil; Wuhan, China. It is all from referring sites 100 percent.

I am an 1 hit wonder.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
