You are absolutely not in the wrong - and don't worry about not being tactful. Simply tell her/him that calling by without phoning first is VERY BAD FORM, especially in this day and age of mobile communication, and that her stopping by and expecting to be fed and entertained while you are busy is just not on. In future, she either phones ahead and gives you at least one hour's notice, or she doesn't bother.

And don't worry about hurting her feelings, either. It's obvious she's not too bothered about YOURS.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
