I earn from hubpages impressions everyday but they are only in cents, whereas I get dollars with just a few clicks on google adsense. Just have to be patient and wait for someone to click on the ads.
I think this is the same for everyone else who writes creative writing hubs-rather than product hubs. I simply don't get any clicks at all. Once I realized this was the norm for many types of topics, I stopped having my ad level on high and put them at medium.
If readers are reading my hubs simply to read them then they don't need lots of ads around them. Perhaps if and when I write a hub about a product-if I do it will have to be one I actually use and would recommend to my mother- I might consider leaving the level at high.
Flora... That's not a bad Idea, I may lower my ad levels for my more creative hubs. It makes sense. @lady rain... I keep telling myself to be patient but It gets hard sometimes.
I'm about four weeks old on hubpages and haven't gotten a single click just yet, but I'm trying not to get discouraged. I suspect it's because my hubs aren't really on products. I write about lots of things that interest me and that I'm passionate about.
Not sure if that type of content gets many clicks.
I make more from Google and with hubpages I only make cents. But I write hubs about saving money, so that might be why.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
