Do you have any recommendations, based on personal experience, for a good facial cleanser?

I recently had a bad reaction to Proactiv, and I want to find a good gentle cleanser. I am acne prone, but I am afraid of anything with benzoyl peroxide, etc.Have any of you tried Cetaphil? I have problem skin and I use Cetaphil. It's great,I use nothing else If you like a cleanser that has a sudsing action,get the bar. The liquid does not have lather, but also leaves you feeling very clean.It's very gentle .

I use Cetaphil every day I use both the sensitive skin cleanser (Daily Facial Cleanser) and the moisturizing lotion. I have acne rosacea and it does an amazingly good job for me. It's not supposed to, at least they don't advertise it as such, but it completely keeps my rosacea in check.As to the cleanser, I used to use Olay, but I noticed I was developing some pimples around the ears that could be quite painful.

I switched to Cetaphil about a year ago (maybe a little more) and that problem went away. So bottom line, I could not recommend the products more strongly. They'd done a great job for me and really suggest you try them.

My son has acne, Proactiv was bad for him as well, and the dermatologist told him to use Cetaphil. It's been great. He washes his face with it, using a soft brush, and it's really worked well.My daughter uses it now, too!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
