Do you increasing the best picture nominations to ten was a good idea and who are the real contenders for the award?

Increasing the numbers doesn't necessarily mean that there are more quality films that are deserving of an Oscar, instead it's more of which picture is not deserving of an Oscar. I believe it was a mistake to change the traditional five best motion picture category for the mahalo.com/oscar Academy Awards. They're not increasing the competition but instead they are decreasing the highest quality films with possible substandard films.

Out of hundreds of films that come out of Hollywood only a handful are good enough for a nomination. So I totally disagree with their top ten nomination list. It's like a watered-down drink, no longer has a punch to it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
