Do you normally write about what interests you, or what interests others?

I write what interests me, and I'm fortunately scatter brained which allows for a lot of leeway. :) For example, I'm currently working on a mystery, a non-fiction special-ops piece, a non-fiction set battle piece, a book review, and latin quotations. :).

I focus on where my interests and what others demand intersect. It's important that my work be well-received because I do have to make money at this, my family doesn't eat if I don't, but if it's not something I'm genuinely interested in then I can't do a good enough job for it to be well-received.

I write about what I like, my passions and other interests, but I make it relatable so others will be interested as well!

I also write about my passions and interests. It is much easier to write.

Chances are very good that there are lots of other people who shares this passion and will read my hubs.

I write about things that interest me. However, I think it is wiser to write about stuff that people are searching the web for. There are a couple different ways a hubber can find this information.

Two ways I know of are Google Trends and Google Adwords.

I write about what interests me. I find that when I write this way, I am more passionate about my writing and it turns out so much better.

I confess that yes I write what 'interests' me... Tho keeping in mind that I am relating to others that are 'like minded.

I try to to do a little bit of both I like to write about what intrests me because I feel like I do a better job that way but I aslo like the challange of writting and researching what I think will intrest others.

I have been writing about things I am familiar with personally, though all the while I am researching what readers out there are looking for as far as interests and information. But since I am not on here to get rich, writing for enjoyment I guess would be writing about my interests and hoping others will be interested, too.

I have written for all those reasons. I write for my wife for her Birthday and for Christmas. I write with my interests in mind, such as from a certain perspective like I use this alot to set the mood based on who or what I am writing a specific piece for.

I think it's good to do both. Write about what you like to make you happy and then write about what other's like to get views. I'm sure what interests you will interest some other people too though.

I write about things I love. That's the easiest way to avoid writers block. You have to love everything you do, even if you have to force it lol.

Great question asked...i only write which is my mode of interest.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
