Do you oppose or support swapping the public sector employee pensions with 401k programs?

Deferred compensation (pension) is a benefit for which employees work. It is part of their wage/benefit package. From what I've read, folks here believe that taxpayers are forced to fund pension benefits over and above those earned by the employee, and that is simply not true.

Which would be all well and good.. except that isn't what's happening. And so.. we have the union thugs rioting in opposition to a plan which would have them paying for part of their own pension.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
