Yes. In fact, I have learned it from my parents (they have leaned it from their parents). Morning scripture and pray with all family members is an unique virtue and divine blessing from the almighty lord (god of all god, who has not taken any son/daughter/father/mother/wife - like as human; my lord is totally pure from those).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
