I consider animal testing to be a necessary evil. You can't test a new medicine properly without testing it on animals first, and you can only get a limited amount of information from tissue culture.
As for testing cosmetics: there are many compounds that have been around long enough that they are well known and have been tested extensively by a variety of methods, so you can quite safely test them on tissue cultures. But any new compound is potentially dangerous and should be tested more rigorously (ie on animals).
Intelligents predict the outcome without doing experiments.
Idiots can make no prediction even after doing multiple experiments.
Better rats then people I see no other worthy purpose for these rodents.
As far as medical research is concerned, my answer is yes.
I don't approve of any testing of products, etc. To be done on animals. There are plenty of people who would, especially if they have no choice, just like the poor animals!
Oh, rats, I hate the nasty little vermin's.
No not at all I think people like sadom hosain or osama bin loden or murderer's doing life in prison should be used make them do it so they can be useful for something.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
