Since the majority of Arizona citizens approve of the new law then it's their business. It would be nice if people approved of a law that will make Arizona a safer place and help cut down on illegal aliens but there are two many radicals in this country to let that happen. The problem has been the lenient attitude of the federal government in letting people cross our boarders without papers and doing little to stop it.
Now we have a class of people who think it is just fine to come here illegally and that we should take care of them. When a state decides to enforce a law against criminals and illegal aliens then you get all these people who cuddle the criminals screaming about it. More states need this type of law and Arizona should be proud of it self for taking a stand for law enforcement.
Given the fact that the Federal Government has failed to properly secure the border and enforce immigration laws during the last 20 years, Arizona is perfectly within its rights to enact its own border/immigration policy. If other States agree with Arizona, then they should enact their own similar laws. If other States disagree then they should leave things as they are.
If the Federal Government disagrees with Arizona, then for pity's sake *do something about the situation*. If they continue to do nothing then they approve of Arizona's actions. States > Federal Government.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
