If Arizona’s proposed immigration bill becomes law, will it survive a constitutional challenge?

Well, he's wrong so he must have a hidden reason for the court battle. Maybe he has family/friends whom are in our country illegally and he's trying to protect them? I'm not being cynical.

He's no doubt read the law and knows it won't force racial profiling. Only a complete moron would think Arizona's law promotes racial profiling if they've read it. Everyone else has a hidden agenda.

I find it interesting that the federal government has already admitted they don't make illegal aliens who haven't committed ANOTHER crime (besides the crime of crossing the border illegally) priorities. So basically, they admit they aren't treating illegal immigration by itself as a crime. So I would think Arizona, in passing a law that mirrors federal law, attempting to ASSIST in this process (since the Feds claim they don't have enough man power etc.) would be perfectly legal and Constitutional.

Also, if the AZ law is discriminatory, then so is the Federal Law. Is he challenging that in court?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
