In one sense yes, another sense no ... Yes, God does care, in that being wrong about God means you could be worshipping "a god" which is not God at all. I once read of a mushroom cult. When members of this mushroom cult were asked if they believed in Jesus, they said "yes."

Yet, when they were asked what they believed about Jesus, they said "we believe Jesus was or is a mushroom. " Well, if the Bible is correct and Jesus is the eternal Son of God Who became man and died for our sins and rose from the dead, the religion that simply say "Jesus is a mushroom" is wrong and believing in this false idea of who Jesus is, is not going to save them. Now, if a person does not believe God exists everything is imaginary and it does not matter what people say they believe.

Yet, if God is real, if He has real attributes and real laws and He has given real direction it is important that we would be correct about the attributes, laws and direction given by this REAL GOD! In fact, according to my study Jesus says - NKJ John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Peter also tells us about Jesus, that He (Jesus) is the only Way of salvation ... NKJ Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. " So, yes it is important what a person believes about God. *********************************************************** Now, if you're talking different names like Baptist, Presbyterian, Christian, etc... I do not think God cares a bit as long as you understand what He has taught us and our right in your understanding of HOW TO BE SAVED!

This idea works too as long as God is real and expects certain things from us. Even if somehow I were wrong, which I do not believe I am, if God is real then there are certain characteristics, rules, laws, things about m I should seek to know and be right about. Fact is, even I am real.

If someone says they know me and yet they describe me as 17 feet tall and having eight eyes and a green complexion, I would say they do not know me. Maybe they know an imaginary me, but the real me has certain very real attributes. Now, if a person real knows me and yet calls himself a certain name in relation to me that another person who knows me does not that does not mean either one of them are wrong.

One person could be a close friend and another a business associate, they may know me in different ways and yet both truly know me and the same may also be true with God. So, yes and no means: Yes, it is important to have a true understanding of God and all religions do not have this so not all of the can be correct. No, it is not so important when people do have a true understanding of God, what they might call themselves..

Insofar as "religion" goes, God expects purity. "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world" (James 1:27). So what religion is it that visits the orpan and widow?

Not Islam (the Quran actually makes widows and insults orphans). The point here is that first, there is God. Second, Who is He?

We've no shortage of man-made religions, all purporting to be men telling us who God is. They can't even predict the future, so everything they say about God is suspect, that doesn't silence them. Nevertheless, God has been clear in what He expects."If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain" (James 1:26).

If you have not the power to control your own sin and live a holy life before God, you have the wrong religion and the wrong God. Thus, to your question: God isn't so concerned about your "religion" as about your relationship with However, "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). To keep those commandments, one needs God's Holy Spirit.

If you are not keeping those commandments and listen to a religion that tells you not to bother trying, then God cares that you have the wrong religion which you are permitting to lead you away from If you are not keeping those commandments and notice, and realize there's a problem, and go to then God mself will lead you to the relationship and religion He wants for you.

Religion is just a word...Christianity is all that matters. No, I don't Belive God cares what religion we are, as long as we do what is right by him, in his name. I believe we can choose any religion we want, and as long as we follow his commandments, and share and tell others about him, I think God will be happy with us.

Religion is a name, we can tack on any name we want, as long as we believe in God, and do what is right, I think we will all win his approval. Sources: my personal opinion .

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
