Do you think it is OK for the Social Security to pay full benefits to divorced women when the ex dies?

I guess, the social security should not be paid for people married on paper. There should be some kind of regulations to make sure, people getting it are actually needed the benefit and really qualify to get it.

No, nor do I think it is appropriate for ese students who intentionally act like they're complete morons so they can collect SSI benefits.

If the amount of social security a woman can collect based on her own earnings record is lower than that of her ex-spouse, it is probably because she put her career on hold to support him in his career while raising their children. If her benefits were higher, she'd be collecting on her own earnings history-- so this provision in the law is designed to protect women. I think it is absolutely appropriate.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
