I'm not sure if ti's illegal or not, but I'm in the middle of both sides. You have a pretty good relationship with your teacher, it seems like and I would try to keep that. Sometimes you can't confide in your parents or family members so it's pretty nice to have another grown-up who you can trust and someone to give you advice.
They say that parents of course only want the best for you, so she might be right. Especially if it's illegal. Many of my teachers say that they'll friend you on fb when you graduate.
Others friend students though. Nothing has ever been done, though. Hope this helps:).
I think it's pretty weird, in my opinion. I had this teacher in 9th grade that said that she would only add students on her Facebook if they graduated. In your situation, however.
I would side with your mom. I'm sorry, but she only wants the best for you. I would listen to her.
She might be right in the long run.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
