Like I see in peoples lives today, everything else is important to the exterior life, keep up with social status, keeping up with new ideas at work. Watching the news. Keeping up with celebrities.
Keeping up with the latest trends. Exercising, keeping my weight in check so I can impress my rival. Making sure my kid is slightly better looking than her kid.
But do you love your family, do we ever take a step back and look at our lives? Do you like the way you are, do you like you? Asked by subtle 14 months ago Similar questions: society today forgetting human people dehumanized Society > Philosophy.

Lots of things seem to appeal to a sort of commercialism and are thus mechanized to reflect the 'one-size-fits-all' type of business model. If you are getting this impression from watching a synthetic type of media like tv or radio then you've already become part of the problem of dissociation with the human being, as you so eloquently put it.
Maybe not an 'elitist' but iconoclast who has a problem with the evolution of society. It's not for any one person to judge how things should or shouldn't progress. I did not notice your details before responding however i'm not sure I would alter much.
No I don't, but then I didn't' make this world.
And yet you have this view that I am part of a thing that is away and different from you, so that somehow justifies your logic subtle 14 months ago .
Its good to be analytical, >>When not taken to excess as so many things turn out today. Like the phrase Analysis Paralysis, it can become more debilitating than being totally oblivious and rob you of living completely.
And yet you have this view that I am part of a thing that is away and different from you, so that somehow justifies your logic >>You aren't any more of a 'thing' that is different than anyone else but your thoughts that insinuate we should strive to become something other than what we've become hint of a semblance of arrogance, if that is in fact what you mean to suggest. I also have a problem with human nature and more specifically the 'herd' mentality that marketing preys upon, but less so than when I first pondered upon it decades ago, if for no other reason than to preserve my sanity.
No, I hate herd mentality, I am neither and I am both, neither am I apart of it, nor am I a part of it at all. I don't need to be defined, but human nature is compulsing me to. Subtle 14 months ago .
No, they are not forgetting it. Life is just too busy. Expectations are just too high.
Empathy and caring for your family and friends is hidden. Little time left for the simple things that now we take for granted. Parents want to be successful through their kids, if not able to be on their own, to justify why they focused on them trying to be the best dressed, best looking, best in sports etc.The me, me, me...generation.
When they reach retirement...looking back.... so many shallow efforts occupied a section of our lives. Nothing but wasted time. Nothing new.
You will remember only what made you smile, laugh and what cut your heart forever. You will remember the tears. All generations faced it.
So will we.
Oh forgot to answer the questions....1) Yes, I absolutely love my family and the handful of friends I made. Interestingly you do step back and look at your life constantly. GASP!
How many instances that the events were misunderstood! Shame on me. Can I make amends?
Are they needed? As you age, your experiences help you analyze and explain these events differently than you ever imagined.2) I kind of like the way I am but it could be improved. I like the way I turned out but I'm not full of myself.
Some faults....... Almost 67 years old and still learning. My greatest mentor was 14 years younger than me but had a great deep and scientific mind. My adult kids think I'm the best and often say: "Oh, boy, Mom.
I'm so glad you are my mother! " Quite a compliment, don't you think? .
Like I can have an unbiased opinion on that! I'm not that dehumanized (yet).
They call that unconscious living...too busy to see what they are doing. Businesses that treat people like human make alot of money. Love is missing in life.
Christian values of forgiveness/love are good. Kids need time with parents...not possessions. They grow up too fast.
The time to influence them is when they are young and can bond with you. Few people are really happy...miss love. Many lack purpose in life.
Pray for everyone. Celebrity crashes on TV...like Lindsay Lohan are due to being Celiac...gluten/dairy hurting them and they may never get that kind of help...so they suffer and are lost in life...all hope lost...they aren't getting the right kind of help! .
As population goes up...people take less care of the kids etc...

The advertizing industry makes their money be getting people to purchase what they are selling. The easiest way for them to do that is to persuade them that they are inadequate, and need to buy it to become adequate. A huge percentage of Americans buy into this farce. As for me, I'm smart, I'm good looking, and danmit, people like me.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold" (Matthew 24:12). That's one of many prophecies being fulfilled right now. Worried yet?
Well yes, since King Constantine changed all the rules in the West. Blessings .

The human society is inconceivable without a language.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
