The sense of humor he has causes problems for him. I think he does have a sense of humor. He showed it on Jay Leno when he tried to be funny about his bowling ability and the infamous "special olympics" reference.
He may be skipping the gridiron dinner to "lay low" and not cause himself any more damage. I think he should at least honor tradition and attend the function though. Sources: this is my opinion .
I think he does have a sense of humor but the economic crisis is not a laughing matter. I read the story on the website provided, I see that there was conflict with his daughters schedule due to the spring vacation. I feel that the president has a lot in his plate at this present time.
The economic crisis, jobs, health-care, education, the environment, both wars at Iraq & Afghanistan. These are very serious issues and they must be solved and I know that they will be solved under President Obama. Sources: It's my opinion..
It is not that big a deal. The New York Post reports that George Bush is close to becoming the first sitting president since FDR to skip out on New York's famed "21" restaurant:GEORGE W. Bush is about to destroy a cherished tradition at '21.' "We've hosted every sitting president since FDR, but GWB hasn't been here in his eight years," a source at famed eatery told us.
"Everybody around him - Dick Cheney, Laura Bush, Barbara and Jenna, Karl Rove, Condi Rice and George H.W. And Barbara Bush - has made it. " Dubya did eat at '21' when he was governor of Texas, but that doesn't count. John F.
Kennedy famously ate at "21" the night before his inauguration, and the restaurant's website shows that both Bush's father and Richard Nixon enjoyed Table #7 in the bar room, while Laura Bush and her daughters preferred to hold court at Table #55. Bill Clinton, along with members of the Kennedy Family, prefers Table #31. Sources: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/08/george-bush-first-sitting_n_156211.html .
1 Hmmmm...rubber chicken with a bunch of old, fat, bald guys or time with his kids. Gee...that's a tough one.

Cause it sure doesn't make sense to me. " "The US troops in Afghanistan proved they have retained their sense of humor, one of them sent this." "In your opinion are you born with your sense of humor or is it something you learn? " "What do YOU mean when YOU say someone has a "Good Sense of Humor"?
" "Music with a sense of humor, what have you got?" "Do you have a wicked sense of humor? Or maybe, do you just have a naughty one? " "Would it make good political sense for Obama and Clinton to be the Democratic ticket?" "Why would Obama make a good President?
" "Can Christianity and a good sense of humor mix at all in today's hazardous world? " "Do you have a sense of humor? Do you need a good laugh today?
Take a look at this and laugh yourself silly.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
