Why does it seem so many Obama supporters are lacking in the humor department and have no sense of humor whatsoever?

NOT ALL-but a great many-almost a disproportionate number not only on here, but in the real world as well, of Obama's supporters seem to have no sense of humor whatsoever, or if they do, its not much. And these people should be happy as a pig at a trough of slop - their man apparently won for cryin' out loud! Yet, if you make a humorous or sarcastic comment, they fly off the handle.

Better get used to it folks - your guy is prime fodder for every pundit, talk show host and comic around-and fortunately, Obama does seem to have a good sense of humor which is more than can be said about many of his supporters who seem to have a chip on their shoulder. During the primary, I had a couple come to my door and when I told them I was supporting was told "you'll be sorry." Sheesh, almost a threat, but I laughed it off.

What are you people going to do if he loses, riot in the streets and burn down the cities? C'mon people, get a sense of humor-politics is a dirty business-lighten up! I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
