Do you think Sesame Street did the right thing by refusing a Gay Marriage to Bert and Ernie?

Children who have been abused Sexually or otherwise tend to either do a couple of different things once they reach their teens and beyond; they themselves take on the characteristics of their abuser, or they become overly loving and protective Adults. The later of course not necessarily being a bad thing, but can manifest into things that are not conducive to having healthy relationships. With that being said children who are learning behaviors and lifestyles from things they experience or see, are more likely to become the example of that environment from which they have learned it.

The Liberals at PBS should know this as basic Psychology 101 and should not encourage this as a possible indoctrination process. I hear many former Prisoners who have said they learned how to be a criminal in Prison, when they went in as a person who simply broke the law and had to pay for what they had done. The real indoctrination process came from being in a an environment of hardened career criminals.

Why do these people try so hard to prove to us that a non-Heterosexual lifestyle is normal and mainstream, ad then are trying to force "TOLERANCE" on a 3-5 year old who is trying to learn basic reasoning and problem solving skills and think that this is O. K? This sounds like a recipe for making kids growing up being more confused, than Liberated from values which give them their early years of a normal development................................ MARK: This is Sesame Street we are talking about here and not a Family who share a Bathroom in a HETEROSEXUAL household.

Homosexuality is NOT NORMAL and either is Diabetes and I have type 1 and don't expect stores to stop selling candy because I cannot eat it. Get a grip man.......... ..

I really cant believe they have the nerve to do something so inappropriate. Since gay marriage in california became legal, the government has been trying to preach the word about gay people a little too much. It has just gone over board.

Sesame street has been on for decades, leave it the way it is.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
