No, because in its current presentation it fulfills too many basic needs of normal people. I do believe, however, and hope that it will become more sophisticated and fool-unfriendly.
If you mean that it will go down in history as a famous example, yes.
I kind of hope so. I get sick of everything being Facebook and every site you go to has a little "like" sign. It is like everyone flocks to this stuff and it takes over everything--like Twitter.
I'm probably the wrong person to answer this question, mostly since I believe that humanity will go the way of the Dodo. Given the addiction of 800 million people and counting, yeah, Facebook will probably see Dodos on the horizon in another 5-10 years.P.S. All hail the Dodo!
It seems like not a week goes by that another story flies around Facebook about impending "charges". There is one doing the rounds now! I think that like many other innovations on the web, someone somewhere is developing the next "big" thing.Do you remember Friends re-united.
MySpace? These programs had their day in the sun and then seemed to vapourise. Facebook has been a tremendous tool for keeping people in touch; but the technologies that it uses are not new and had in fact been around for years under different names.
There are better programs out there and it is just a question if anyone can be bothered to move to them. If Facebook does attempt to charge for their service then that may be the motivation people need to move to other platforms. Is it doomed? Do you remember Alta Vista, Mosaic?
Exactly. And really does Facebook need to make any more money?
Currently 500 million active users...I'm thinking not anytime in the really near future.
May be another two to three years away .......
Don’t do the Dodo is an altruistic Brand which donates 50% of its profits to small and local grass roots projects.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
