Is your marriage doomed if your mate cannot make you laugh?

I think a sense of humor is a necessity to make it through life with one's sanity intact. Since mates share life's path, it would seem to me that being able to laugh together would be a very important part of a successful relationship. I don't think you have to marry a comedian or class clown, but one's mate should be able to appreciate and share the funny little things that happen in daily life.

We've all had those moments where you have to laugh so as not to cry and it helps when your mate can understand why you are laughing at something that's not funny on the surface.

I wouldn't say doomed, but it sure isn't going to be very much fun.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
