Do you think that MDMA (ecstacy) should be legalized and its production regulated?

It was once legal, until it was being abused. But I'm a person of ambivalence with legal and not. One said of me says, it's "your" body you should do with what you please, the OTHER (rational) side says, too many people don't know when to quit.

Like cigarettes for instance. Shouldn't coughing be the FIRST sign to quit before it became an addiction? Yet more people have died from smoking and drinking than any other drug out there.Mt.

Dew is ADDICTING. I know, because every time my dentist yells at me for drinking it, I stop until the headache withdrawals start. I drink a half bottle, the caffeine headaches goes away, yet my stomach hurts, and I feel bloated. So it makes me miserable.

So I get a pill for my stomach ache. It's a vicious circle, and we just shouldn't get started on any of it in the first place. Not even soda.

Although it sure is yummie. And LEGAL. :( If I could begin my life with my current knowledge.

I'd never eat or drink anything that wasn't natural fruits or juices, and I mean no preservatives either.

Well, all I know is that in my younger years I was a bit of a rebel & tried out some of these things & the feelings you describe above were initially what was felt by taking exstacy tablets. However, they changed & as you also mention, they probably no longer contained much MDMA at all & who knows what was in them, or still is -I don't know much about this anymore? I do not think they should be legalised because we are just going to be looking at the big drug companies cashing in even more so at the expense of our health & who is to say what purity they would be anyway after all the legislations & guidlines etc?Legal or illegal this is a goldmine & I say leave it illeagal, I actually would trust this more..?

A 2011 study carried out by Harvard Medical School and published in the journal Addiction found no signs of cognitive impairment due to ecstacy use, and that it did not decrease mental ability. The report also raised concerns that previous methods used to conduct that research on ecstacy had been flawed, and the experiments overstated the cognitive differences between ecstasy users and nonusers.

No. The "propaganda theories" you mention are from respected medical authorities. "users almost unanimously report feelings of love, empathy, insight, and are able to eliminate old psychological scar tissue, even from one experience with the drug"Ooookay...hmmmm....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
