President Obama's son would indeed be the same color as Trayvon Martin. Truth is truth. This is not anywhere near "playing the race card" as you have so maliciously suggested, but is showing empathy with a bereaved black family whose son was murdered without interfering in the investigation that is pending.
The so-called "race card" was played by an armed and possibly inebriated George Zimmerman when he chose to single someone out based on skin color and used the racial epitaph "fu&*#*g coons" as he stalked, chased, and then murdered an innocent teen trying to walk home from a local convenience store with a bag of Skittles and an iced tea.
I don't like Obama.... Hate his policies. But I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this.... I think his goal was to show how Trayvon Martin was someone's son. But I do agree with Newt's comment on Obama's words.... --- “It’s not a question of who that young man looked like.
Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
