Do you think you are funny? Do people tell you that you are funny? Do you make others and not just yourself laugh?

I'm pretty shy, so I don't talk much, but I've been surprised to hear people say I'm funny. When I heard my coworkers thought I was funny when I had my last review, I thought "oh god, I hope it was all in good taste..." The fact is, I'm "snarky. " Snarky, from what I understand, is derived from "snide remark" and doesn't really mean rude so much as cynical.It's making a quip that's sort of sarcastic, but everyone knows it's a joke.

Like other posters, I tend to have a darker sense of humor, and if I don't filter it, it's usually too twisted for those who don't know me well. I don't have a lot of charisma, so I'm not the "funny one" in the crowd, or the comedian in the group, but those who know me seem to enjoy my brand of humor. I grew up watching "Roseanne," and adopting my dad's sense of humor, so I'm definitely in that snide remark category.

Yes, I think I am quite hilarious! Also, occasionally other people agree with me, especially my mom, which is always nice. Sometimes people don't get my humor, which is kind of weird, but that's ok.

Humor is highly subjective, and it makes me happy to make other people laugh...even if it is just myself. :).

I think I'm articulate and most articulate people tend to be clever enough for a witty enough comment there's a laugh here and there. I have people tell me that I'm hilarious, but the truth is - I'm sarcastic. And so, I have a dry, sarcastic type of black humor that people either find simply gut busting or they just don't get it...Or they hate it.

For me I think it's the other way around. I don't think I'm funny, but everyone says that I am. Everyone seems to find most that I say to be witty or humorous.

Honestly I am not tooting my own horn, people really do laugh at me. I suppose I am quite a character. I'm not afraid to be myself, and I enjoy the center stage.

I enjoy entertaining other people and standing in front of the crowd. Or perhaps they're laughing AT me? Nah, that's not it........

I don't consider myself to be a funny person. I can't tell jokes and I often take things too seriously. But my friends often laugh at me because I am careless, forgetful, and sometimes act ridiculous.

I used to mind being laughed at, now I laugh along with my friends. I even tell funny stories about myself to my students to keep them interested.

I think I'm very funny! :) Unfortunately my sense of humor is kind of twisted so I am usually the only one who gets the it. :(.

I make myself laugh often. I don't have a certian type of humor that I know of. I'm just a crazy red head....People laugh at me because I just say wrong shit.

Like at my work when people pay with debit and I have to explain to them by saying put the chip in the bottom. But I guess when it comes from my lips it sounds dirty. And that's funny appartently I make myself laugh though because sometimes I just realise how awesome I am and that to me is funny.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
