No hate those things and the light they give off,stocked up on the old style should be fine for a few years .

The new bulbs cost more. I bought alot of the old...It took me more than 4 years of EDTA/DMPS IV chelations to remove mercury from my body. I don't want to get more inside of me again.

What will they do when American is poisoned by these bulbs? It is the worst hell anyone can go through. Thanks.

Did you know that coal releases tons of lead and arsenic and all kinds of toxins into the environment. You're using a computer. You're increasing the need for energy.

Inside the house is more Hg absorbed and I don't think people will take the time to put the bulbs in a baggy before they throw them away...so ground water may get more mercury. There are other electricity consumers that use more electricity than the bulbs...let us use nontoxic bulbs only. I agree the power plant also pollutes...so target other electricity use...not bulbs maybe.Thanks.

It's pretty easy not to break them; and you get more light for your money. However, LED bulbs are starting to come of age; which will make CFLs seem kind of old and clunky.

I have two objection to the would-be replacement for incandescent light bulbs. First is that they do not fit some lamp and ceiling fixtures in my house. The base is too large.

Second, while they are supposed to have a greater life than incandescents, I have had many curlycue florescent lamps fail to start after a few months of service.

To me they are too dim...get brighter as they stay on longer...but I may only turn them on for a few seconds to walk somewhere in my house. They cost more for inferior lightning in my opinion and dangerous mercury. Thanks.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
