Yes in a nut shell Yes. It also has the butter fly effect. It not only touches the life of the drinker, it effects everyone and every thing around them.
Drunk driving can kill innocent people and that also has a butter fly effect as well. My experience was that a drunk whom my Dad knew in service would show up at all hours drunk no....plastered beyond drunk. It had a good effect on me.
I never drank until after I was more than old enough and even now, you can't get me behind a wheel or to drink more than one drink in one day. Why, because I saw this man in our ditch each time he was drunk, of beating the door till the glass in the windows shook (doors didn't have glass.) I do not buy alcohol for teens or any one else under age. And if someone drunk asks me for $$ I tell them I will buy them food and soda nothing else.
If you or someone you know is drinking way more than anyone should. Do all you can to stop them/or get them to quit....NOW while they are still able to think...later will be too late.
If your only drinking once or twice a week it won't but if you drink loads everyday for months or years then it mite cause brain damage.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
