Does anyone have a Dyson vacuum cleaner? and do you like it?

I know Dyson vacs are quite expensive but I am tempted to get the purple or grey Dyson that claims to be one of the best.No bags, it's not suppose to lose suction unlike the bissel vacuums I keep going through. I am looking for one of the best that will really clean carpet dirt from down in and pet hair. Asked by WILD 59 months ago Similar questions: Dyson vacuum cleaner Home > Home Appliances.

I own a dyson dc14 Animal I bought a Dyson DC14 Animal for about $300, new from kohls with 3 coupons stacked. dyson.com/range/feature_frame.asp?model=DC14-ANIMAL" rel="nofollow">dyson.com/range/feature_frame.asp?model=... I've owned this vacuum cleaner for about 5 months now and love it, I have a wife and cat that shed like crazy and I can vacuum a room and dump the container about 3 times full of hair. My parents have a hoover that works good at a cheaper cost.

I would never buy anything other then a Dyson again, its worth the extra cost. The vacuum works as intended so far, 5 year warranty, no loss of suction. My old vacuum was a dirt devil bagless, that was terrible and hard to dump, the dyson is easy to dump, the only maintenence I had to do was pull out hair from the pickup part of the bottom.

If you have any more questions feel free to message me, I understand how expensive this purchase is! Good luck Sources: dyson.com, personal experience .

Just got one yesterday...and it ROCKS! Yes, they are more expensive...but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. We had a Fantom vac before that we THOUGHT was doing a really good job.

Well, it inexplicably died just recently so we bit the bullet and got a Dyson. What can I say but, "Oh, WOW! " It picked up pet hair like nobody's business, and a ton of this fine dust that even our Fantom was not getting.

We went over the same area of the floor THREE times, each time getting a ton of dust. Which told us 1)This vaccuum ROCKS and 2)We appear to have a seal problem that is letting tons of dust into the house. So, to answer your question, get the Dyson.

We got the D17 Animal. InfamousShane's Recommendations Dyson DC15 Animal Amazon List Price: $599.00 Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5 (based on 74 reviews) This vacuum sucks...and doesn't stop! So that is a good thing..

Yes, yes and yes Dyson’s are the best vacuum I have ever had. They are great about getting just about everything up. If you are looking for a deal, look for a factory refurbished Dyson.

That is what I did, and they are about $150 off list price. You will be surprised about the quality and performance of a Dyson.

It is wonderful! We have always had a problem with every vacuum cleaner we've ever owned not picking up all the pet hair. They would always leave traces/trails behind or to the sides of the vacuum.

With the Dyson DC-17 Animal it's not a problem AT ALL. I'm in love with this vacuum cleaner. The only problem is as with all bagless vacuums, emptying it can be a messy experience.

Even if you're very careful, the tiny particles of dust escape. Unfortunately there's no way of getting around that. Gwaipo's Recommendations Dyson DC17 Animal Amazon List Price: $549.00 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 46 reviews) .

Yes, I've got the purple one. I have a lady come in and clean up the house every two weeks and she brings her own high-powered up-right with her. I do like to have my own vacuum cleaner around for spills and things that come up between her visits.

When my old singer upright died I decided to get the purple dyson. At the time I had two cats in the house and the cleaning lady had just been through with her vacuum the day before and all the carpets looked nice and clean. On a whim, though I setup the Dyson and ran it over the carpets once.

I was amazed at the huge canister full of cat hair I ended up with. I must admit I don’t use it real often, but I’ve never had any problems with it and it definitely doesn’t lose suction like my old bag vacuum did. My only complaint is that I don’t like the way the handle telescopes out of the hose and how for some things you have to disconnect the handle/pipe from the hose, and then hook it back up and collapse the whole thing again.

Oh yeah, and I LOVE the washable filter!
