Does anyone have any advice for new recruits into the Air Force?

Keep your nose clean and have a great alarm clock.

When it is your turn to do the watch, stay awake and make sure your replacement is up and at it before you go back to bed.

Man the answers on this site are really going down in quality these days. I wrote this answer years ago which still gets a lot of traffic today: askville.amazon.com/joining-Air-Force-he... of the responses to that comment prompted me to create a web site: afbmt.com/ which you may find helpful. I talk all about AF life and what BMT is like.

Let me know if you have any specific questions. Just send me a PM or reply here. Do?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
