Does anyone have experience with cell phone to land line docking devices?

I am thinking about getting a docking device for my cell phone(s) and reducing my land-line service to basic dial tone, withe the idea of outing all or virtually all traffic throuhg our cell phone accounts. Can anyone with experience with these devices comment on how well they work? Asked by [email protected].
