Does anyone have the list of foods for the mystery dinner?

I went to a dinner party in the '70's and we had a fun menu to choose from regarding the foods. There was a list of items--say 25 of them, and each guest had to fill out a form choosing 4 items per four courses of the meal. Such choices might include: White cloud (marshmallow), golden nuggets (cantaloupe balls), halitosis special (garlic bread).

I just received a list over email for such items but they weren't as good as the old list I had. Does anyone have a menu of that type. I'd like to invite some new friends and do the crazy dinner.

After small servings (which at anyone serving might include a utensil), then you serve a dinner consisting of the main ingredients. Mine was spaghetti, salad and garlic bread with some dessert. If you have any list of these items, I'd love to have them again.

We've done this with the Girl Scouts... We usually come up with a theme, then plan the "menu" to match. For example, we used "gardening" one year, had the words to the song "Inch by Inch" (Peter, Paul, and Mary) around the menu, and used gardening things as menu items. "Gardening Fork" was a fork, "Gardening Spade" was a spoon, twig = toothpick, baby trees = broccoli, rocks = meatballs, worms = spaghetti, you get the picture.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
