Does anyone know where I can find a copy of roosevelts speech at the repeal of prohibition?

I see no reference to any such speech, but there is a written proclamation: presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=14570 "Now, therefore, I, Franklin D. Roosevelt|FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, President of the United States|United States of America pursuant to the provisions of Section 217 (a) of the said Act of June 16, 1933, do hereby proclaim that the Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States was repealed on the fifth day of December, 1933.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
