Does anyone watch the Boomerang network channel? What do you think about the cartoons they show?

They're supposed to be a "classic" cartoon network, but I'm not impressed. I'm still waiting for them to show some classics like Batman, Heathcliff, Gem, Transformers, G.I. Joe, DuckTales, Thundercats, CareBares....... Asked by CallaBeauty 52 months ago Similar questions: watch Boomerang network channel cartoons show Entertainment > Animation.

Yes! I do watch Boomerang on occasion. I upgraded my Directv package to get it and SoapNET.It’s totally worth the extra money!

I like the classics like Tom & Jerry, and I also like the Hanna Barbera greats like the Flintstones and Jetsons. You have some great suggestions. They rotate cartoons around, so they’ll probably get around to showing some of your favorites eventually.

It’s a generational thing I guess. Notice the name of the network. BOOMERang.

For us baby BOOMERS the stuff that they show are classics. The Wacky Races, Popeye, Pink Panther, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Top Cat, Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Super Friends and the Banana Splits are all cartoons that we grew up with. The shows that you mention come along a bit later.

I hadn’t really thought of it until you asked this question but I feel pretty certain that this network is aimed at us aging baby boomers. Sources: my memories KingofRandomCrap's Recommendations Yogi Bear Our Hero (A Little Golden Book) Used from: $6.55 .

Hmmm, I guess some are missing in the middle. Because they do show Yogi, Magilla Gorilla, Huckleberry Hound, Dastardly & Muttly, Flintstones and the Jetsons. All of which are more classic than the ones you listed.

But they also show Cow and Chicken, Dexter's laboratory and current episodes of Duck Dodgers. I suspect they're rotating shows. Once they've burnt everyone out on Magilla, they'll put something else in there for example.

I'd like to see Count Duckula, myself.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
