Does being cold affect your immune system?

Being cold does lower your immune system but if you are outside while being cold in the 'fresh' air, then you are unlikely to catch a virus. The problem is when you go inside with all the virus's from many people being in the air, with a weakened immune system Though on the other hand I believe that being cold, though it may temporarily weaken you immune system, but it also exposes your system to relatively more powerful virus's, and one can argue that since you were exposed to 'worse' viruses if you don't get sick, you will only strengthen your immune system I myself only wore a t-shirt (and gloves) for the entire Canadian winter, about -20ish for most of it where I live, no matter what I was doing outside, nor for how long. And this winter I have not gotten sick at all, most winters I get a bit of a cold.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
