Does Damon die in 'The Vampire Diaries'?

Technically, he's a vampire, so he's already dead. Jokes aside, in the books, he never dies. And in the TV series?

As of early May 2011, the series is still running and it's yet to be seen whether Damon dies.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
