Does God answer prayers?

You better believe it! God certainly does answer prayer. Unfortunately, most people do not admit they got an answer.

Yes, God answers prayers and you should keep your eyes, ears and mind open to receive it. The answer will be right, but mostly you will think it is not the right answer that you were looking for. Sometimes God's answer will be displeasing to you in the short run, but most appropriate in the long run.

Those who accept God's answer with all humility without question or protest are the ones most blessed o receive the divine grace.

Yes god answers prayers...you just need to find the answers when he does. That requires patience and belief that what god allows to happen in your life...is for a good reason although it may not appear so at first...an example I pray to god that I don't miss a train going to work in the morning and when I gt to the station I miss it, get late for work so I think damn god don't answers prayers (it can't be that hard for him to delay the train a few seconds for me). A few minutes later another train arrives and I get on, this train travels for 10 mins then stops and the driver announces that the previous scheduled train derailed and quite a lot of people have lost their lives with many more injured.

What do I say to myself thank god, I missed it...

He always answers prayers, and if you feel you haven't received an answer that means you aren't listening.

My one regret is not having kept a journal to be able to recall all the prayers I've had answered! Yes, God indeed does answer prayers. The answer is not always yes.

The answer might be instantaneous or might not come for a long time. God's timing is always perfect. Just because someone you love dies, doesn't mean that God didn't answer your prayer.

He just didn't give you the answer you were looking for. If a believer dies, he/she knows where they are going. Likewise, the believers surrounding him/her draw comfort in knowing that person is in the presence of the Lord.

Those that are left behind certainly grieve over their loss, but the deceased is rejoicing and singing praises in God's presence! During these times, God uses the situation to draw s children closer to each other and more importantly, closer to .

I was suffering from Acidity from 1981 to 1983. My diet used to be bland and absolute non- spicy. God healed me when I stood in a gospel meeting and prayed.

Ever since I can take any spicy dish. In 1999 I had a severe fungal infection on my right toe nail. My youngest son was in my womb and I had tried many ointments, all turned out futile.

The doctor then said the nail had to be removed without anesthesia. I did not agree to it and grew worse. One day I cried out "In the name of Jesus I command you be gone'.

Gradually it disappeared. A couple from IEM had no child for 10 years. My husband and I prayed in the name of Jesus and the following year they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy!

Jesus is alive the same yesterday today and forever. All our children are born miraculously. When our first daughter was in my womb the doctor said I would lose my baby since the bag was leaking considerably .

I only prayed and God gave me a beautiful normal baby girl. My life is full of miracles. Every child, their upbringing and our present days with Jesus .

How could I deny .

This answer presupposed that there is a God. There might be something out there, but as far as a patriarchal grey-bearded puppet master I feel a resounding no. And hypothetically if there was an active creator, I think that meddling in the affairs of its creations would somewhat defeat the purpose of creating us, which is to explore the universe in which we live.

Sorry but he never answered any, so I gave up my beliefs. Some say that he has answered theirs, maybe they should pray for an end to poverty and war etc. Not being a believer though does not make me a bad person, I still act in a good manor without being religious.

Yes god answers prayers. But prayers are not answered in one minute, one hour or one day. God answers prayers, his changes are slow, but once delivered changes will be lasting.

The answer to prayers will be lasting.

I have found God to be very kind and I have received answers to my prayers each time I have prayed to God.

God answers prayers in It may not be right away, but I need to be patient in waiting for the answer. Sometimes the answer isn't obvious; it can be through someone saying something, or reading something, or a thought happens to come into my mind. It can be quite defined or vague. It depends upon what I pray for.

If it's something serious, the answer will come straight away. When prayers are not being answered, it's because I'm too busy so that the impressions won't come as readily. However, prayers can be answered in different ways to different people and their situations in life.

Yes God answers prayers immediately we pray. However, there are some forces that fights against some of the answered prayers. See the book of Daniel.

I don't remember the chapter nor the verse.

Yes, definitely. It's just that sometimes we are so blinded by our our wants that we don't realize that God has already given us an answer. He answers this way:"When the idea is not right, God says 'No';When the time is not right, God says 'Slow';When you are not right, God says 'Grow';When everyhting is right, God says 'Go'."So let us be sure to listen to what He has to say.

Its all depends upon your believes , if you believe ,so answer is yes .

I know that my answer will be voted down , like most of you who answered already, all I see is a vote down , but God has answered some of my prayers , now whether it was God or not you be the judge, by concentrating I got what I want. Call it pray ,call it whatever you want, but a repeated word sinks into the subconcious and takes over automatically. Is that God?

I just believe in belief itself, it does not have to be Named God or whatever, believing in what you believe helps get your result.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I have to believe that for every person that prays to and feels like they received an answer there are thousands that pray and don't. Instead of God answering your prayers it is more likely that your subconscious comes to a decision and so you feel like your question has been "answered.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
