God looks on the heart ... It all depends on your motives. If you go on Saturday because you are a nurse or doctor and have to spend all day Sunday in the work of mercy caring for sick people, then why would there be any problem with that, God knows your heart? Yet, if you go Saturday night because you want to spend all day Sunday drinking on the beach that is an entirely different story, but again God knows your heart.

He is not looking for people who are slavishly serving Him out of obligation. We were imputed the righteousness of Christ when He died and He was imputed the sin of man. He was an adulterer, pedophile, murderer, liar – for us.

We got the robe of righteousness because of His death. It does not matter to Him when we worship so long as we do love Him and worship Him.

I will be going to Vigil Mass at 9:00 tonight, and it will last until Midnight. I will not be getting up and going to Mass again in the morning. Attending the Vigil Mass is the way to usher in the Easter season.
