Does it bother anyone else when Americans, and other foreigners refer to the UK as 'England'?

Life in Yahoo Answers World and other internet sites doesn't reflect real life. There is certainly some resentment in some quarters of society because they see immigrants as taking their jobs. Unfortunately, some groups of immigrants make no attempt to integrate and don't even learn English.

Many Pakistanis even fly their dead home to Pakistan. Americans are generally welcome visitors, despite some of the comments you read on these pages.

Yours was a very good and well balanced question. Marblehead has given an excellent answer and more truly reflects how most intelligent folk feel. The internet is full of stupid and rude people who use its anonymity to express views that they think are clever but are frequently just pathetic and reflect their total inability to think around an issue.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
