Does society view torturing and killing of animals worst than killing of humans?

It depends. You said "killing of humans" for which there can be a great variety of motives. Killing in self defense is often admired.

Killing in war is generally tolerated. Killing for fun is not. When it comes to animals, you said "torture and killing".

While killing animals for many various reasons is tolerated, even admired, torturing and killing them almost never is. Only a few sick religious cults believe in torturing and killing animals. For that matter, a few sick religious cults believe in torturing and/or killing people.

But on the whole, I would estimate that most societies: View killing people worse than killing other animals. View torturing people worst than torturing other animals. View torturing and killing animals as completely evil, which can be worse or not as bad as killing people, depending on the circumstances.

View torturing and killing people as as bad as you can get. However, many religious groups find one excuse or another for any of these despicable acts, ranging from animals not having "souls" to it being good for human "souls" to suffer.

No it doesn't. We don't kill people for food or to use their body parts, and we at least have a judicial process before we put them in cages. Even then we don't clip their limbs to reduce flight risk, which people do with parrots for example.

Also by and large we don't experiment on people without their consent. When it comes to torture, it seems people are willing to make a few exceptions when they think the necessity is great. But all societies make at least as many exceptions for when animals may be legally hurt as they do for people.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
