Does the ABC television series Lost inspire you in any way?

Lost is my favorite t.v. Show. Not only does it entertain me, it alters my perspective.

When I think of strength, confidence and loyalty, sometimes I think of Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Sayid, or Kate. Being a college student, the characters on Lost have built up a desire within me to expand my mind and become really educated in multiple areas. Mikhail, the crazy smart Russian "other", is extremely intelligent and so is Benjamin Linus (Henry Gale).

As creepy as Ben is, he has a way with words that inspires me to be the same. Finally, I'll admit it, sometimes I wish I was on an island =). Does Lost inspire you in any way?

It does, in fact. My inspirations come from, more and more, Hurley Here's a guy who is a bit of an outcast within the "in" group. He's fat, perceived as ineffective, and not able to "hang"But he's an encourager.

Cheering people. The golf, for example. But his big scene was when he got the Hurley bus and rescued the guys from the others - and anytime you rescue Sayid and Jin, you are my hero.

You know, it kind of does Mainly one of the most inspirational points for me comes from my buddy, Locke. To me, he's the hero of the show - the character I most relate to and root for the most. On the other hand, I can't stand Jack.

I think he's whiny, easily manipulated, and stubborn. He won't see the big picture at great cost to himself and others. So isn't it funny that within the show Locke represents Faith, and Jack represents Science and Logic?

Becaues I am a person who's much more about science and logic than faith normally. I analyze and plan and I want cold, hard evidence before acting. So it's extraordinary to me that I should cling to the hero who represents the antithesis of these values.So really this show has inspired me to reconsider just how much a little faith (in the generic non-Christian sense) in myself, the spiritual realm, and the people around me could do me some good.

This is my favorite TV show. I'll be very unhappy when they finish the whole story and the show is finished. I'm curious of what might happen in the future of the show though.

I wonder if there is anybody like the people in Lost. If they are really lost on an island from a plane crash. That would be very interesting if there were.

There was a television show in the 70's I am trying to remember, part "Lost", part "Mad Max.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
