No, the Tea Party is a small faction of the Republican Party. They represent enough in the House to cause problems, but they are not in favor with the American people right now for that very reason. Most Americans think they are far too extreme.
The Tea Party has been propagandized in a negative way by alot of media. So its hard to say. I would like to see a poll that asks people if they support certain viewpoints , but do not mention they are Tea Party view points, and then another poll that asks if they support these Tea Party viewpoints.
I think that that poll would reflect both how many represent the viewpoints as well as what kind of effect media has had on perception of the Tea Party. Im not involved with teh Tea Party at all myself but the basic principles of of fiscal conservatism I agree with.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
